About Berkshire Fabric, Blinds & Shades

David & Donna Gopfert started Berkshire Fabric & Wallpaper in 2003 with the purchase of the contents of the Old Stone Mill and stock from the Waverly outlet in Adams, MA, expanding services to include Custom Sewing and the expanse of Blinds, shades and shutters and Upholstery Services. We ran the business together until June 2018, when Dave passed unexpectedly.

Donna with her team of consultants have run the business as Berkshire Fabric & Wallpaper, now known as Berkshire Fabric, Blinds and Shades.

From 2003-thru 2023, Berkshire Fabric & Wallpaper was a retail store for 20 years. 2024 was a pivotal year, as it moved from a Brick-and-Mortar Store to a more customized personalized service introducing “ Shop at Home”. 

We are a full service, one-stop shop for custom window treatments, including shades, blinds, shutters, and drapery. We also offer professional upholstery services, including fabric selection and custom cushion work. We help you choose colors, textures, and finishes that complement your interior decor beautifully; all within your budget.

Our Shop at Home service makes the selection process easy. We handle all the details including measuring, designing, and installing for your home or office. Contact us today to get started!
